Let’s face it. Pantries are often your kitchen’s dirty little secret. Looming inconspicuously behind closed doors until some unsuspecting houseguest inadvertently unleashes chaos with one swing of the door. Long story short: kitchen pantries are usually an eyesore. But dressing up your pantry is one of the easiest ways to give your kitchen a little oomph. And we rejoiced when our blogger friend, Kelsey Bang, gave us the inside scoop behind her pantry makeover.

I recently watched The Great Gatsby for the first time and was in awe at how beautiful the film was. Everything was exquisite - the costumes, the sets, the way Leonardo DiCaprio’s eyes sparkled.. I digress. Granted, modern cinema plays a hand in creating the luxury and glamour we see on screen. Still, the Art Deco design movement deserves quite a bit of credit. While short-lived, Art Deco motifs remain very popular in modern design. We honestly can’t get enough of it, which is why we’ve created our Art Deco Removable Wallpaper and Mural Collection.

This month is all about the classic color combination: black and white. On their own, black and white can seamlessly integrate into any design motif. Neutrals in their own right, black is anchored in strength and sophistication, while white takes on jovial and pure characteristics. Together, black and white create a striking coupling that is anything but neutral. 

We've been told for years, if you want to make a small space feel bigger, you paint it a neutral color. Maaaybe add some subtle colors in your accessories. Other than that, though, you keep it pretty basic. 

But, as strong advocates of beautiful and sometimes daring (read: removable) wallpaper, we find spaces decorated in monochromatic boredom just a bit blasé -- which is why these bold small spaces are just really speaking to us.

The trend report is in! With hard modern lines and bold graphic elements, our Pixel Diamond removable wallpaper is a trend on the rise. It’s a versatile print that integrates seamlessly in to just about any style room. Personally, I like it best paired with a few mid-century modern pieces and fun pops of color for some softness.
