About Safe Haven Family Shelter

For 30 years, Safe Haven has served as the only shelter-to-housing program in Middle Tennessee that accommodates homeless families. This shelter prioritizes family unity; they accept the entire homeless family, keeping children with parents underneath the same roof. Families receive comprehensive services that empower them to achieve lasting self-sufficiency by providing the opportunity and structure needed for each family to succeed.Safe Haven’s approach is one of service, compassion, trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
