Smooth linen textured, both of our two paper types look and feel exactly the same. The only difference between the two is how they’re stuck to the wall. The “peel-and-stick” simply peels and sticks whereas the “paste-the-wall” needs paste applied. Hence the name, Peel-and-Stick or Paste-the-Wall. In other words, one is like a sticker and the other needs glue.

Single Wall Measuring Instructions

*Use these instructions for covering a single wall.
1

Using a tape measure, write down the widest width and the highest height of the wall. We only need the wall measurement, don’t include any baseboards or crown molding.

2

On the product page, input your dimensions, select your paper type and checkout.

3

We take it from there. Your custom wall covering will be set up and printed specifically for your wall size.

Relax knowing that we will always print your wallpaper a few inches larger than the wall size you specify, guaranteeing full coverage and an easy application.

See the graphics below for specific wall measuring scenarios.

We know walls come in all shapes and sizes, it’s one of the reasons we love them! For tips on measuring different wall types, scroll through the sketches below.

Simply measure the full height and width of the wall. We need your exact wall size, so don’t forget to double check the measurements before sending on to us. We only need the dimensions of the surface you wish to cover, excluding any skirting boards or coving

When you have a sloped ceiling or wall, measure the longest and widest parts only, ignoring any slopes. We provide the mural as a whole rectangle or square, and the slope is cut away during installation

If your wall has two slants, simply identify and measure the longest part of the wall in both the width and the height. Again, we will produce your mural as a square or rectangle, with the cutaways taking place during installation.

When there is a door, window or other obstacle on your wall, only measure the total width and height of the wall, as the obstacle will simply be cut away during hanging. Feel free to send us additional measurements, a photo or a rough plan as we can add the position of the obstacle to your proof image. Easy!

Multi-Wall Measuring Instructions:

*Use these instructions for covering multiple walls.
1

Using a tape measure, write down the widest width and the highest height of the wall. We only need the wall measurement, don’t include any baseboards or crown molding.

2

Measure every wall that you plan to cover. Regarding windows and doors, just pretend they don’t exist and just measure the widest portions of the wall. This guarantees full seam-to-seam coverage.

3

Input your wall measurements into the calculator below and click Calculate. You now have the total square footage needed for your job.

*Note - Because every wallpaper order is custom printed we cannot guarantee color accuracy for separately placed orders. We highly recommend ordering approximately 15% more than you calculated.

This ensures that you have enough to cover the job. Feel free to contact us for assistance with your order.

Multiple walls:

If you’re looking to wrap a wallpaper around multiple walls, simply combine the widths of each wall and submit one measurement when ordering. There’s no need to order the mural as two separate pieces.
