White Washed Brick For A Polished Industrial Bedroom

There’s a special kind of artistry in the rawness that goes on behind-the-scenes. And the same goes for interior design. Rustic chic married with unadorned sophistication, and bold but minimalistic elements make up the urban signature that is industrial interior design.

This motif has been making it into ultra-luxe and modern spaces these days -- even in bedrooms. And it’s no wonder. Raw style fused with edgy elegance can bring forth a distinct homey vibe like nothing else -- absolutely contrary to the notion that industrial design is “rough” and “cold”.

Trying to incorporate the industrial look into your space but don’t know where to start? An accent wall is a nice way to get things weaving. Let Taryn Whiteaker’s Master Bedroom Update featuring our White Washed Brick Wall Mural show you that industrial design has its own strikingly warm appeal.

The Inspiration

“After three years of living in our home and working on all of the other rooms, it was time to create a luxurious escape for ourselves! Sticking with my true modern rustic style, I wanted this room to feel modern and clean but also incorporate a lot of texture and rustic accents. Once I had our barn door hung and modern style canopy bed in the room, I knew it was time to add some more texture to the space. I chose to use the White Wash Brick Wall Mural by Walls Need Love as an accent wall behind our bed. I think the texture from the brick adds so much dimension to the space and really warms it up! It was incredibly easy to install and was the perfect addition to this space. I couldn't be happier!”

Industrial design is mostly considered gritty and masculine, but pairing it with the right colors and accessories can give your room stunning cozyness with a lavish edge.

And just in case you were wondering how easy it is to put up WallsNeedLove’s Removable Wallpapers, Taryn included a step-by-step guide in her feature as well. Read it in full here.
